A new exhibition from Papunya Tula. Featuring a mix of new and established artists, the show explores and guides us through the wonders of life in the harsh Tanami Desert and the areas surrounding Lake Mackay. Featured artists include Makinti Napanangka, who won First Prize at the 25th Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award and her protégé Doreen Reid Nakamarra, who won the General Painting Award.

Brook Andrew: Eye to Eye is an exhibition that spans the internationally-acclaimed young Australian indigenous artist's practice over the past decade, encompassing a diverse range of disciplines, including photography, printmaking, sculpture and neon installations.

The first gallery in Singapore exclusively dedicated to glass art presents IMPACT, an exhibition highlighting the diverse styles and techniques in Australian contemporary glass. Artists include Nicole Ayliffe, Rod Coleman, Matthew Curtis, Tali Dalton, Kevin Gordon, Holly Grace, Tevita Havea, Sergio Redegalli, Keith Rowe, Daniela Turrin, Emma Varga and Robert Wynne.

The Australian High Commission is pleased to present an exhibition of contemporary indigenous art in the Atrium Gallery.

2 Dec-3 Jan: TJUNGU PALYAKU WALKA NYUWANA

ReDot Gallery presents the 1st ever show in Asia of the exciting works of APY Lands’ Tjungu Palya. Tjungu Palyaku Walka Nyuwana (New Works from Tjungu Palya) will showcase the very best from this relatively new, remote art community. Tjungu Palya artists have powerful spiritual links to their country, and produce paintings that are exuberant and highly individual compositions depicting their myth cycles embedded in the topography of the land. Artists include Wingu Tingima, the late Eileen Yaritja Stevens, Nyankulya Watson, Maringka Baker and Ginger Wikilyiri.

Winner of Australian Jazz Vocalist of the Year Aria Award for two consecutive years (2003 & 2004), Melbourne based, arranger, band leader and jazz vocalist Michelle Nicolle is Australia's first lady of jazz with a full rangingof marvellous voice. Michelle has released 5 beautiful albums, all of which received high critical acclaim. In 1998 at the Wangaratta International Jazz Festival (Melbourne), Michelle won the prestigious National Jazz Award and the judges included the legendary bebop singer Sheila Jordon (USA), and the current Blue Note vocal star Kurt Elling (USA). - "Australian jazz singing doesn't come any better than this" - (The Weekend Australian). “The greatest gift to Australian jazz vocals in the last decade” is how James Morrison, Australia’s most awarded jazzman, describes Emma Pask. Winner of the 2006 Mo Award for Jazz Vocalist of the Year, Emma has performed with Don Burrows and Ivor Davies and sang at Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman’s wedding in 2006.
