to 17 Feb: ANCIENT CULTURE, MODERN ART An Exhibition of Contemporary Australian Aboriginal Art
Club 21 Gallery | Four Season Hotel | free admission
To celebrate its 35th anniversary, in partnership with tjala Aboriginal Art and the Australian Trade Commission (Austrade), Club 21 presents the first ever exhibition in Singapore of works by one Australia's greatest Aboriginal artists, Regina Wilson - winner of a Telstra National Indigenous Art Award 2003. Regina's work is held in the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Queensland Art Gallery and several significant private Australian and international collections. The exhibition also features works from artists from Dummu Arts, the art program of the Peppimenarti community, located south-west of Darwin in remote northern Australia.

ReDot introduces, for the first time in Singapore, 2007 Telstra Award finalist and Xtraata Coal Emerging Young Artist Award winner, Christine Yukenbarri. The exhibition also features work from fellow Telstra finalist Pauline Sunfly and pieces from established artists Eubena Nampitjin, Elizabeth Nyumi, Helicopter Tjungurrayi and Boxer Milner. www.redotgallery.com

to 31 Mar: NOSTALGIA Australian Contemporary Art 2008
Sabun Cabane salon and art gallery, Tanglin Mall | free admission
Nostalgia features 22 paintings by two Australian artists - Gabe Somers and Samantha Lord. All works are available for sale. Nostalgia is the first exhibition to be showcased in the upbeat salon, Sabun Cabane at Tanglin Mall. Art enthusiasts are invited to view the exhibition or take time to have their hair done and enjoy the artwork within their view.

Sandra Kaji-O’Grady, Australian Professor of Architecture at the University of Technology, Sydney debuts her series of old pianola rolls reinterpreted as architectural choreography or musical scores, through her exhibition, Cuts and Scores in Singapore.
